Objective To evaluate the methodology of transmitting immune turbidimetry in the determination of immunoglobulin IgG,IgA and IgM and to evaluate the correlation between the transmitting immune turbidimetry and the scattering turbidimetry. Methods The correlation and deviation analysis was carried out between the transmitting immune turbidimetry and the scattering turbidimetry. Results IgG,IgA and IgM tests showed that the transmitting immune turbidimetry and the scattering turbidimetry methods had good correlation. The deviation between IgG and IgM tests could be accepted on three medical decision levels. The deviation of IgA test was accepted in intermediate and high concentrations, but the deviation between the two methods was large in low concentrations. Conclusion Transmitting immune turbidimetry has reliable methodology in the determination of IgG,IgM and IgA and has certain deviation from the scattering turbidimetry in low concentrations, which should be noticed in clinical application.
