Progress in the study of vascular endothelial growth factor-C and its correlation with lymphangiogenesis and lymph node metastasis of malignany tumor

Vascular endothelial growth factor- C(VEGF-C) is differential regulative factor of blood and lymphatic vessels,its structure having homology with VEGF.VEGF-C play roles via binding VEGR-2 and VEGFR-3.In the recent years,studys indicate that VEGF-C mediates tumour′s lymphangiogenesis via binding VEGFR-3,and in relation to lymphatic vessel involvement and lymph node metastasis.
