Present Status and Future Development of Active Headset

Active headset, which can control low frequency noise by using active noise control, has obtained many achievements in the past two decades. In this paper, the characteristics, development and the state of the art of the active headset are discussed, and then the structure, algorithm and engineering implementation for analogue and digital active headset are investigated respectively. Meanwhile practical applications of the active headset are reviewed. Finally, development trends for smart active headsets are given.
