The reliability of Likert scale measurements is crucial for ensuring the validity of research findings and the consistency of questionnaire instruments. In this study, we employed Cronbach's alpha reliability testing, implemented through Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Statistics software, to assess the reliability of Likert scale statements. Specifically, we examined a dataset comprising 39 Likert scale statements to evaluate the internal consistency of the instrument. The dataset consisted of responses collected from participants using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. These statements covered various constructs or dimensions under investigation in the research context. Using SPSS Statistics, we conducted Cronbach's alpha analysis to estimate the internal consistency reliability of the Likert scale statements. The normality of the data was assessed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk Tests. Results for each of the 39 items included test statistics, degrees of freedom (df), and p-values (Sig.). Our findings revealed Cronbach's alpha coefficient of research questions concerned at 0.805, 0.800, 0.612 and 0.759 respectively, indicating a high internal consistency among the studied items. The study concluded that the high level of internal consistency observed suggests that the Likert scale statements in our instrument reliably measure the intended constructs. These results provided confidence in the validity and consistency of the questionnaire used in the research study. Furthermore, our analysis explored potential item-level correlations and identified any items that may contribute to the overall reliability of the scale. This process allowed for a deeper understanding of the interrelationships among the Likert scale statements and highlighted areas for potential refinement or improvement in future iterations of the questionnaire. By ensuring the internal consistency of our measurement instrument, we enhance the robustness and validity of our findings, thereby contributing to the quality and credibility of our research outcomes.
