Research on the innovative application of digital media technology in cultural and creative design: a case study of traditional Huizhou plant patterns

This paper focuses on the innovative transformation pathways of traditional Huizhou plant patterns in cultural and creative design empowered by digital media technology, systematically exploring their theoretical value and practical applications in contemporary cultural and creative industries. The study employs a combination of methods, including literature analysis, deconstruction of pattern elements, comparative case studies, and design practice, to thoroughly analyze the cultural connotations, artistic characteristics, and adaptability of traditional Huizhou plant patterns in modern design contexts. Emphasis is placed on the extraction of elements in terms of color systems and modeling logic, which not only provides theoretical support and practical examples for the digital preservation and dynamic inheritance of Huizhou traditional plant patterns, but also offers a methodological framework for the innovative transformation of traditional cultural resources in the digital era. Looking ahead, further efforts should promote the deep integration of pattern resources, technological means, user needs, and application scenarios, establishing an interdisciplinary collaborative design innovation system to achieve sustainable dissemination and value regeneration of traditional culture within modern design languages.
