Study on Double Layer Design Method for Reducing RF Reflection using SiC-Fiber Ceramic Composites for High Temperature Exhaust

The restricted accessibility of heat-resistant materials poses a challenge for stealth applications in high-temperature exhaust systems, rendering them susceptible to easy detection by radar. The lack of materials that can withstand high temperatures is a significant limitation. Silicon carbide (SiC) is a promising material for high-temperature applications. In this paper, ceramic composite combinations based on SiC fibers were investigated in order to identify suitable combinations to avoid radar detection.
