Między biopolityką a bioetyką

"Between biopolitics and bioethics" is an introduction for further reflection on biopolitics. In the first part of this article, the theoretical tradition of this concept and different definitions of biopolitics are briefly outlined. In the second part, the practical aspect of contemporary biopolitics is analyzed, showing those areas of social life in which people have to deal with biopolitics as well as the major biopolitical actors. The aim of this article is to identify numerous ethical controversies that result from the specific contemporary biopolitical practices.
