Actinomycete flora of japanese soils

Abstract In the previous paper (1, 2), it was described that the seasonal change of actinomycete flora was observed on the basis of morphological, cultural and biochemical characters. On the other hand, it was reported also that each soil group was characterized by its actinomycete flora on the basis of antibiotics-production (3), and in this paper it was presented whether the characteristic actinomycete flora from the view of antibiotics-production was maintained through out a year.
