Acaroid mites breeding in traditional chinese medicinal herbs from entire grass

Objective To study the breeding of acaroid mites in traditional Chinese medicinal herbs from entire grass.Methods By floatation and tullgren apparatus the mites are isolated from defferent herbs and entire grass.Results All together 32 species of mites belonging to 24 genera and 6 families were identified from 580 samples.Chinese medicinal herbs with acaroid mites are 100%,with 60.3% Chinese medicinal herbs breeded 2 species of the mites.Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicinal herbs from entire grass are severely polluted and the effective measure should be taken to prevent the acaroid mites breeding in the herbs.
