Hydrogenation of m-Phenoxy Benzaldehyde Catalyzed by Pt/M Bimetallic Nano-clusters

Bimetallic nanoclusters were synthesized through the reduction of mixed salts by sodium borohydride. The addition of Co or Ru enhances the activity of the catalyst. On the contrary, the addition of Cu、Au and Ni reduces the activity. Meanwhile, the activity is affected by the concentration of PVP and the reaction temperature.
