Design of controllable mechanical seal

From the work principle and the causations that lead to the damage of the seal,this paper introduces that the auto control technique is adopted in the mechanical seal.The performance of the seal is improved,and the seal could also be adapted to the changes of operation condition and the environment automatically.Such a seal will experience less mechanical and thermal damage to the faces,less wear,and a long life,than conventional mechanical seals.
