Energy Flow Analysis (EFA) is a tool for the prediction of the vibrational behaviour of a structure in the mid and high frequency range. This paper describes the Energy Flow Analysis of a highly damped two dimensional frame. The frame is modelled as a beam network, which is solved by a finite element implementation of the energy flow equations. The results of EFA are validated with measurements with a laser vibrometer on the frame.
