Advances of Treatment of Spontaneous Intracerebral Hemorrhage in Acute Stage

Hematoma volume following spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage is the strongest single predictor of mortality and outcome,and reducing the enlargement of intracerebral hemorrhage is an effective treatment target.Currently existing therapies for ICH expansion are mainly the administration of lowering blood pressure and recombinant activated factor VⅡa,which their effect on outcome need further confirmation.Stem cell therapy has shown promise for better functional recovery.
