Case Study of Industry-University-Research Collaboration Based On the Paradigm of Open Innovation

Open innovation breaks through closed innovation’s limits that it only uses its internal resources to innovation and commercialization.For open innovation refers to the fully use and integration of not internal but external knowledge resources for the firms to innovation and commercialization.This paper compares open innovation and closed innovation model firstly.Then uses two cases BM and TJAB to study the practice of open innovation.
