The Analysis of “Bei” Construction from the Perspectives of Cognitive Grammar and Construction Grammar

Bei construction has been more and more widely used in Mandarin Chinese.In addition to transitive verbs,intransitive verbs,nouns and adjectives can also enter such a construction,resulting in the construction of wrong-collocations form.These constructions form a category of Beiconstruction due to the family resemblance.The interactive analysis from the perspectives of cognitive grammar and construction grammar provides rationality for the acceptability of the members in this category.
