SAPO molecular sieves have attracted considerable interests because they can be used as ion exchangers, adsorbents and catalysts. Synthesis of novel microporous molecular sieves is\nalways attracting from the viewpoint of research and practical application. In this work, we report a novel microporous SAPO molecular sieve with RHO topology for the first time (designated as RHO-SAPO), which has the three-dimension structure of 8-ring channels and pore diameter of 0.36*0.36nm. The samples physicochemical properties and their use as\nadsorbent and catalyst for the methanol-to-olefins conversion were also investigated.
