Purpose:To investigate the breast movement of C-cup women,to compare the effects of sports bras on breast movement and to provide theoretical support for bra designers.Methods:8C-cup women subjects performed walking(at 4km/h or 6km/h)and running(8km/h or 10km/h)activity on the treadmill with sports bras and no bra respectively with Motion Analysis.Their breast movements are captured using a six-camera motion analysis system with 200 Hz sampling frequency.Result:Sports bra has a better support to breasts and the magnitude of displacement reduced with increasing breast support. The value of the displacement of the breasts in running at 10km/h and 8km/h is significantly greater than that of walking at 6km/h and 4km/h.More than one part of the breast should be tested in the future studies since the characteristics of different breast parts are different, and the breasts cannot be repented solely by the nipples. Conclusions:Sports bra has a better impact on the displacement of different markers, especially in mediolateral and vertical movements.
