Finite Element Analysis and Experimental Comparison for Railway Freight Car Bogie Bolster based on UG NX

The paper makes a finite element analysis to a railway freight car bogie bolster by the use of UG NX software, which results were compared with the experiment results. The datas coincide with each other. The paper points out the problem that need to pay attention in the simulation, and provides a convenient and fast method for evaluating the strength and stiffness of bolster.
