Discussion of Advances in Clinical Research on Combination of Acupuncture and Medicine Treatment for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome( PCOS) is a common disease among reproductive age women caused by complex endocrine and metabolic abnormalities. Chronic anovulation and hyperandrogenism are the characteristics of PCOS. In recent years,clinical research has proved that combination of acupuncture and medicine can produce significant effects on the treatment of PCOS. Therefore,this paper will do a discussion of advances in clinical research on combination of acupuncture and medicine treatment for PCOS.
