Experimental Study of Effect of Insulin Like Growth Factor I on the Growth of Osteoblasts

Objective:To study the effect of insulin like growth factor I on the growth of osteoblasts.Methos:Rabbit osteoblasts were got by enzyme-assimilating method,and cultivated together with insulin like growth factor I at different concentrations of 0.1ng/ml, 1ng/ml,10ng/ml for seven days to observe the conformation and growing feature of the osteoblasts,the proliferation were measured by MTT essay and the growth curve were made according to cell counting.Results:There were significant difference between experimental groups of insulin like growth factor I at different concentrations of 0.1ng/ml, 1ng/ml,10ng/ml and the control ones,significant difference were also found between every two groups of insulin like growth factor I at the concentrations range of 0.1～10ng/ml. Conclusion:Insulin like growth factor I has promoting effect on the growth of osteoblasts,and the effect has positive relation with the concentrations at range of 0.1～10ng/ml.
