Development of Long Glass Fiber Reinforced PET Composite

A new method was used to prepare long glass fiber reinforced PET thermoplastic composite with a self-made impregnating device. The affect of heat conditions to IV of LGF/PET composite was studied, and the fracture and the mechanical properties of the composite were analyzed. The results showed the prepared composite sample had excellent mechanical properties.
