Numerical simulation for preparing φ520/φ460 mm pipe of spray deposition heat-resistant alunimun alloy

Numerical simulation of extrusion process was researched for preparing φ520/φ460 mm spray deposition pipe of heat-resistant aluminum alloy by the finite element software DEFORM.The field of strain,density and the extrusion force during upsetting,filling and inverted extrusion process were analysised.Comparison on the extrusion force and the density of extrusion pipe shows that the simulation results are in agreement with the experiment results.
