Preparation of Magnetic Fe_3O_4/Beta Zeolite Composite Material and Its Adsorptive Behavior in Phosphate Removal

The magnetic Fe3O4 /Beta zeolite composite material was prepared and characterized by SEM,XRD,FT IR and magnetic hysteresis loop method.The related adsorptive experiments showed that after 0.05 g magnetic Fe3O4 /Beta zeolite composite was added into 5 mL 50 mg/L PO3-4 solution(pH 3.0) through 6h contacting time,the phosphorus removal efficiency could reach nearly 100%.The adsorption behavior fit with Freundlich adsorption isotherm.The saturated composite could be regenerated through alkaline solution media.The Fe3O4/Beta zeolite composite had the advantages of being easily isolated from aqueous solution.The process was controllable and convenient,and it possessed great potential in practice.
