Four antagonistic bacteria(numbered PF-1,PF-2,Bs-03,Bf-02),which were isolated from soil, were strongly inhibiting to the growth of the Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. In this paper, identification of four antagonistic bacteria and its inhibition efficacy were studied.By observation of the morphological character, cultivation properties, measurements of the biochemistrical features, four strains were identified as Bacillus lacivae,B.brevis,B.subtilis,B.firmus respectively.Through dual-culture,their inhibition efficacy on the Colletotrichum gloeosporioides were tested. The results showed that four strains had strongly antifungal activity to Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, and the ereraged inhibition rates were above 83%.In the four strains,PF-2 had the strongest inhibitive effects, its inhibition rates of 88.47%,and had significant difference at the level P0.05,as compared with the others.PF-1,was the secora and its inhibition rates were 86.11%.The inhibition rates of Bs-03 and Bf-02 had no significant difference at level P0.05.
