Simulation of adaptive control of reciprocating motion of honing machines

Aimed at the situation that the traditional honing machines'spindle reciprocating cannot satisfy the requirement of the reversing reciprocating movement with high speed,high acceleration and high reversing accuracy,according to the characteristics of reciprocating movement mechanism in the honing machines,its mathematic model and system of reference model were set up for high-speed digitally controlled honing machines.Then the control system was simulated and analyzed by using the tool kit of Simulink.The simulation result showed that the use of the reference model of the adaptive control method could make the reciprocal motion of honing head consistent with the reference model.Meantime,the overshoot would be reduced to some extent,so that the system performance index could be well satisfied and the system would have a certain anti-interference ability.
