Radiation in Central Nervous System Leukemia: Guidelines From the International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group

Abstract Durable control of systemic disease in blood and bone marrow has significantly improved survival among patients with leukemia, but extramedullary relapse in the central nervous system can still pose therapeutic challenges for which radiation therapy can have an important role. The objective of this document is to discuss the current role of radiation therapy for patients with leukemia in the central nervous system.
