Abstract An efficient bioinspired stereoselective first total synthesis of spinosulfate B has been accomplished following Jacobsen's hydrolytic kinetic resolution, Stille coupling, olefin‐cross metathesis (OCM), Horner Wadsworth Emmons olefination, and De Brabander's esterification as key steps.
