Further Results on Observability of Boolean Control Networks

This paper investigates observability of Boolean control networks (BCNs) and gives some novel criteria on observability. Firstly, the observability, the strong observability and the super-strong observability are discussed via the augmented approach which converts the observability problem into corresponding reachability of a constructed logical control system and is effective to reveal that these three types of observability can be determined in finite time. Subsequently, by constructing sequences of matrix sets, a non-augmented approach is presented to testify observability of BCNs. Finally, an example is worked out to illustrate the obtained results.
