Abstract In this paper, the thermal conductivity values of metals such as pure titanium, pure niobium, pure tungsten, iron, carbon steel (Q235, Q45), brass (H59), and purple copper (T2) were investigated in the temperature range of 273 K — 473 K. The experimental results showed that the repeatability of the thermal conductivity tests was better than 6% for all metals except for copper, where the repeatability was 10%. The test repeatability error increases with increasing temperature and is better than 3% for titanium, 45-gauge steel, and niobium (thermal conductivity below 50 W/m/K).
