Tunable optical properties in the (110) p -oriented layered halide perovskite FA 4 Pb 2 I 7.5 (SCN) 0.5 by Br substitution

We successfully fabricated thin films of thiocyanate-stabilized (110) p -oriented layered halide perovskites FA 4 Pb 2 (Br x I 1− x ) 7.5 (SCN) 0.5 by the spin-coating method. The optical band gap of the compounds can be tuned by the chemical compositions.
