Nanosensors are nanoscale devices used to sense particular physical quantities and produce signals that can be detected and analyzed. Nanosensors, with their greater sensitivity, quicker response time, and lower cost compared with traditional sensors, have a vast range of applications in a multitude of different fields. Nanosensors are generally used in the field of precision agriculture, diagnostics, plant nanobionics, medical technology, and many industrial applications. This chapter provides a detailed discussion of various recent advancements in nanosensors, types of nanosensors, their fabrication process, materials used, and their applications in various industries.
