摘要
ABSTRACT Endocrine diseases continue to surge as a global health concern, posing a serious threat to human health and placing a tremendous burden on society. The pathophysiology of endocrine diseases is intricate and multifactorial, often associated with dysregulation in feedback mechanisms or malfunctions within the endocrine system. Numerous studies have been conducted to develop pharmacological agents that prevent or alleviate endocrine disorders. Ginsenosides, the primary bioactive compounds derived from ginseng, exhibit beneficial properties for the treatment and prevention of common endocrine disorders. In this review, we summarize recent research progress on the therapeutic application of ginsenosides in the management of various endocrine disorders. In conclusion, this review aims to provide novel insights into the therapeutic potential and applications of ginsenosides for treating endocrine diseases and to lay a foundation for future clinical studies on ginsenosides.
