A 54-year-old man presented with an acute pruritic eruption lasting 5 h. Physical examination revealed scleral icterus and wheals with a yellowish hue. One week prior, the patient had started bismuth-based quadruple therapy for Helicobacter pylori infection. Serum tests revealed bilirubin and aminotransferase levels increased. He was diagnosed with yellow urticaria associated with drug-induced hyperbilirubinaemia.
