摘要
Silicon oxides (SiOx) have received extensive attention as an advanced anode material for next-generation lithium-ion batteries. However, their commercial applications are hindered by the large volume expansion and low conductivity. To solve both problems, the SiOx/LiF@C composites with LiF-introduced were fabricated through the hydrothermal method and carbothermal modification. Benefiting from the LiF-introduced, SiOx/LiF@C can facilitate the formation of a highly stable solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) layer on the electrode surface. The more stable interface minimizes the continuous growth of the SEI layer, thereby reducing the resistance and increasing the Li+ diffusion coefficient. Specifically, the SiOx/LiF-0.15@C composite, in which the SiOx to LiF mass ratio is 1:0.15, shows a high discharge specific capacity of 1837.1 mAh·g-1, high initial coulombic efficiency (ICE) of 86.3%, and excellent capacity retention of 1504.4 mAh·g-1 after 100 cycles at 0.1 A·g-1. The great potential of LiF-introduced for SiOx anode materials is demonstrated.
