Development of Expanded Perlite Insulating Products With High Strength and Low Water Absorption

Expanded perlite insulating products with high strength and low water absorption were produced by using expanded perlite,inorganic binder and flux as feed materials.Thetest results indicated that the expanded perlite products with high strength and low waterabsorption may be produced when more than 30% inorganic binder was mixed with expanded perlite and calcined at about 740℃.
