Preparation of Solvent-Based Acrylic Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tape for Decoration

Acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives introduced in this paper were synthesized through a solution polymerization. The influence of several factors such as the composition and viscosity of acrylic resins, the contents of the curing agent and the tackifying resin on the properties of the pressure-sensitive adhesives were investigated. The above adhesives were used to prepare a PVC based pressure-sensitive adhesive tape with coating-transfer method. Results showed that the properties of these adhesive tapes were better for using in decoration.
