THE VARIATION OF SULFIDE IN CULTURE PONDS OF BINHAI SALTERN AND RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SULFIDE AND OTHER FACTORS

On the basis of an investigation on sulfide in sediments of culture environment in Binhai Saltern from May to November 2006,relationship of sulfide with other factors is analyzed.The results showed that the range of sulfide contents is from 143.26mg·kg-1 to 372.45mg·kg-1 during the culture period,the change trend was first increases and then decreases,high values occur in July and August.Regressive analysis showed that the sulfide contents positively related to organic carbon in sediments.Sulfide contents in sediments increased with COD contents increase in water.There were close correlation between sulfide contents and COD contents,high values of sulfide contents occurred after high values of COD contents in water.Redox potential increases,sulfide contents in sediments decreased.Sulfide contents was significant negative correlation with redox potential.
