Effects of Transverse Direction Rolling on the Deforming Texture of 3104 Aluminuim Alloys

Effects of transverse direction rolling on the deforming texture of 3104 aluminium alloys were studied by X-ray diffraction technique(ODF analysis). The results showed that texture type was(100)[uvw] and the rotated cube orientation{100}011was stronger in the transverse direction-rolled plate than in the longitudinal rolling. But texture type B{110}112, 5{123}634, C{112}111was weaker in the transverse direction rolled plate. During transverse direction rolling, the cold rolling textures showed another type feature which different with the typical copper-type feacture deformation textures in the longitudinal direction rolling, the strongest texture is {110}uvw.
