Analysis and Evaluation on Joint Operation Adjustment of Line 3 and Line 4 of Shanghai Urban Rail Transit System

Shanghai rail transit system adopts the transportation plan of Line 4 loop transportation by applying the joint operation of Line 3 and Line 4.Under the condition of many shared stations,simple track layout and short headway,the paper analyzes the difficulties existing in the process of operation adjustment,such as adjustment of delayed trains,vehicle rescue,etc.With the continuous increase of passenger flow on the Line 3 and Line 4,the paper provides suggestions on train operation organization and reconstruction plan of further joint operation.
