A NEW GENESIS OF NUGGET

On the basis of the objective facts including nugget s exist in primary gold ore bodies, the close relationships between nuggets and primary gold orebodies, the gold percentage of nuggets and the limited width of accretion for placer gold, and also a series of questions which can not be expla ined by supergene genesis theories, the authors discuss the genesis of nuggets a nd advance a new recognition. That is nugget formed on the basis of the transfor m and limited accretion of primary nugget in supergene environment. The authors also put forward the areas where nuggets found should have or had ever existed t he primary gold orebodies.
