On the basis of the dynamical system modeling and system simulation,the method of system dynamics is used to establish the erosion and deposition evolution simulation system in the Yellow River estuary.The system has the functions of river mouth shape prediction,the positions prediction of erosion and deposition and water depth prediction.Then the observed data in 2004 of the Yellow River is taken as an example and the erosion and deposition evolution trends of the Yellow River estuary in 2005 is predicted.The results show that the predicted value agrees well with the observed data.
