摘要
Synthesis of 4-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)quinolines by the reaction of 4-chloroquinolines with 1,2,4-triazole was studied under neutral, acidic and basic reaction conditions.Significant role of the acid and base catalysis as well as substituent effects on the reactivity of 4-chloroquinolines in these reactions are reported.As a result of this study one can choose the best reaction conditions for the preparation of the title compounds according to the substituents on the quinoline ring.Vol. 1, No. 1, 1994 Nucleophilic Substitution Reaction of Chloroquinolines with 1,2,4-Triazole.I.
