Abstract. As the only contact part between the vehicle and the road surface, the crown structure of the tire has a very important influence on its grip performance.The research object of this paper is radial tire, and the analysis model is established with ABAQUS software. Select the braking force as the tire grip performance evaluation method, select the optimization target as the maximum friction force between the tire and the road surface, select the shoulder spacing, tread spacing, and crown arc height as the design variables and use the response surface method to explore the friction force Relationship, using genetic algorithm to obtain the optimal solution of the design variables, the optimized tire grip performance and wear performance compared with the original state, using the Pearson correlation analysis method to study the relationship between ground contact characteristic parameters and grip performance, using limited The method of combining element and correlation analysis to study the relationship between each ground contact characteristic parameter and the grip performance to improve the grip performance of the tire, thereby providing guidance for the radial tire structural design.
