The inhabit characters of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis larvae in the roll leaves.

The investigation and research for inhabit characters of Cnaphalocrocis medinalis larvae in the roll leaves indicated that three days after heavy larval infestation, the rate of 1～2 instar larval inhabitancy in rolling leaves is 100%; the rate in rolled leaves is 0～28.57%, and average rate is 12.25%. 5 days after heavy larval infestation, the rate of 1～3 instar larval inhabitancy in rolling leaves is 50%～92.86%; and average rate is 69.02%. The rate in rolled leaves is 0～32%, and average rate is 11.28%. Therefore, the 1～3 instar larval used to inhabiting the rolling and rolled leaves. the control effect evaluation for field trail is calculated according to amount of larvae in rolling and rolled leaves.
