Objective:To review the recent studies on the natural history and causes of rupture and management of unruptured intracranial aneurysm. Methods:Reading and reviewing literatured related to the natural history and management of unruptured intracranial aneurysm. Results:The mortality of subarachnoid hemorrhage induced by rupture in intracranial aneurysm was high.Half of the survivor remained irreversible brain damage. The risk factors of rupture in aneurysm less than 10 mm was not clear. The rate of rupture in aneurysm was between 0.5% and 2%,which was higher in aneurysm with gradually growth or larger than 10 mm.Conclusion:The data about risk factors of history and management of unruptured intracranial aneurysm is still not complete. The methods on management is still argued.
