Low Temperature Synthesis and Characterization of α-PbO_2 Nanorods

Phase-pure α-PbO2 nanorods were synthesized through oxidation of PbCO3 using(NH4)2S2O8 under alkaline conditions.Powder X-ray diff raction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM) were employed for the characterization of the crystal form and morphology of the obtained nanorods.
