An improved method of synthesis for calixarene ester derivatives

An improved method for synthesis of calixarene ester derivatives 2a～2d was developed,which included alkylation reaction of calix[4]resorcinarene and calix[n]arene with ethyl chloroacetate in the system of K 2CO 3/KI/CH 3COCH 3 for four days.This method had the advantages of lower cost,less poisonous and a relatively higher yield.
