Physics and chemical property of antibacterial peptides from earthworm

By means of phosphate buffer,ammonium sulfate precipitation and Sephadex G-100 and Sephadex G-50-25,one active peptide was isolated from earthworm.This antibacterial peptide exibited antibacterial antivity to several bacteria and fungi.and displayed high thermostability.This antibacterial peptide can increase immune activity and has high ability in inhibiting ACE activity.
