A Tentative Inquiry into the Environmental Design of Residential Neighbourhood

This paper begins with an analysis of the main composite pattern of the environment of residential area and its handling in environmental design. And through living examples it makes a further probe into how to improve the environmental quality of residential neighbourhood.
