A Study of Implicit Attitude Towards Smoking of Smokers of Different Reasons

The present study used improved Implicit Association Test(WIAT)to investigate the implicit attitude of smokers of different reasons towards smoking.The result showed that the implicit attitude of social psychology smoking undergraduates was significantly negative,and the implicit attitude of pharmacology smoking undergraduates was non-significantly negative.The difference of the implicit attitudes of the two different types of smokers was not significant statistically.It is concluded that in the efforts of intervention on smoking cessation the implicit attitude of the smokers should be taken into account,so as to improve their autognosis and reduce the smoking rate of undergraduates.
